Welded wire mesh is mostly supplied with galvanized finish, hence it is called Galvanized Wire Mesh in some cases as simplied term. Also called square wire mesh in certain cases since square hole welded mesh is popularly used. Steel Welded Mesh is a versatile product that can be used as fencing panels for residences, various perimeters, animal fencing and various enclosures, as structural grid trellis in pre-casting of concretes, ceiling, wall, pits, tunnels, cover and various construction projects, as wire products for gardens and plants support, or as shelf, decks, racks for various storage and logistic applications. At Zhong Cheng, we offer a wide choices of mesh wire products, in galvanized steel and stainless steel materials, available in a veriety of sizes, treatments and fabricated forms. General purpose square opening mesh has an opening of 1/4" x 1/4", 3/8" x 3/8", 1/2" x 1/2", 5/8" x 5/8", 3/4" x 3/4", 1-1/2" x 1-1/2", 2" x 2". Rectangular hole welded mesh has an opening of 1" x 1/2" or 2" x 2". Wire gauges range from BWG 14 to 23. Custom sizes available with us for specific uses. Mesh rolls and sheets are supplied to custom sizes for convenient uses and transport. We also offer fabricating services.

Welded Wire Panel is mainly used as safety fences for roads, railway, schools, public buildings, temporary fence panels, portable fence or perimeter fences. The surface treatment includes PVC/ vinyl coated, hot dipped heavy galvanized and electro galvanized, etc. Hot dipped zinc coated mesh fence offers thicker zinc plating than electro galvanized one and stronger zinc plating adhesion, while costs a little higher. Galvanized mesh fence panels have a bright metal surface while the plastic coated fence panels have multi color choices.
Compared with Woven Mesh Fences, welded wire panels have more rigid structure and longer service life.
Welded wire mesh is a kind of metal fabric with sturdy structure and flat surface. The galvanized or stainless wire is firmly welded to form a rectangular or square hole structure. The welded wire rolls can be easily fabricated into various forms: curved mesh, trellis, cages, containers, truss type, ladder mesh and etc.
We have advanced machines and equipments for producing welded mesh for specific uses: welding machine, galvanizing machine, pvc coating line, bending machine, straigtening devices, cutting machine and auxiliaries.
Welded Nets can be made with five finishes and assortments (listed as below) supplied in flattened rolls or cut to size pieces.
General Comparing of Major Types of Processing:
Galvanized after welding mesh (GAW) has thorough zinc coating, mostly are welded with steel wire then hot dipped galvanized. It consumes more zinc and costs more money for producing than Welded Mesh Galvanized Before Welding Mesh (GBW) . GBW Wire Mesh is also known as pre galvanized welded mesh. This mesh has the disadvantage of unprotected welding spots in the mesh fabric, since some galvanizing layer can get damaged during the later welding process. PVC Vinyl coated wire netting is mostly light type for fencing panels used with posts, featuing powder coating corrosion resistant property suitable for outdoor uses and multi color choices. Welded steel mesh without galvanizing process is the most economic type, made by welding of plain black steel wire or bar, mainly used for coarse screening and construction reinforcing. Stainless Steel weld mesh panels are used for applications requiring excellent acid and corrosion resistance.
